1st Westbury Explorer Scouts are holding their first Annual Jumble Sale on Saturday 24th January, 10.00am-12.00noon at All Saints Church Hall, Westbury.
Will Kettlety, Explorer Scout said, “Please feel free to come to the jumble sale, we will charge 20p for adults and children will be free. There will be refreshments and a raffle. Also, we are looking for any jumble you are looking to dispose of. If you have anything to donate, please ring 07554 850149 and we will collect from you. We look forward to seeing you there.
“1st Westbury Explorer Group are trying very hard to raise money to fund our activities. As part of this section of the Scout Association we plan our own activities and fund raising.
“We have already attended a 24 hour activity weekend at Gilwell Park (Scout Headquarters) as well as various camps, helping Westbury Lions with marshalling and running stalls. We also plan fun activities such as bowling, climbing and taking part in the Soap Box Derby in Trowbridge.
“We meet every other Thursday at 1st Westbury Scout Hut, Meadow Lane, Westbury.
