Everything from advice on keeping safe in your home, to local activities and services, will be on offer for older people at a special event on Wednesday 22nd July.
The event which runs from 2.00pm to 6.00pm at Grassacres Hall off Station Road, will give older people a chance to have their say about the sorts of services they need and also to find out what’s on offer in the community.
Staff from Wiltshire Council will be on hand to chat about your views, experiences and expectations of activities and services for older people in the Westbury area.
The hall will be lined with a variety of information stalls featuring everything from the local health services, fire service, police, good neighbour scheme, Alzheimer’s support and much more. Cake and tea will be served as people get a chance to browse the stalls, share their ideas, ask questions and get advice.
The event is organised by the area board and the community area partnership, the event is open to all older people and their carers.
