EXCITEMENT is building as the final preparations for Ascot Ladies Day at The White Horse Country Park are under way.
Hannah Bowden who is organising the event said, “We are really looking forward to the day; this is the fourth year we’ve done it and it gets better every year.
“It’s popular with the ladies as they get to leave the men at home and enjoy a day of eating nice food, drinking champagne and Pimm’s and hopefully winning some money!
“Everyone is really excited about getting dressed up for the day and for the chance to win ‘Best Hat’ and ‘Best Dressed’ in our competitions.
“We start the day with canapes and Pimm’s and then we have a very nice cold buffet lunch, followed by traditional afternoon tea. Everything is made by our in-house chef, Darren Galliers, who is brilliant.
“We’ve sold a lot of tickets so far which is brilliant but there are still a few left, so don’t miss out and call us today.”
