Volunteer, Hilary Reed, organised another coffee morning last month, raising more funds for the Guide Dogs for the Blind charity.
The morning was also a chance for Hilary to show off her new guide dog, Johnny. Johnny was able to train as a guide dog with thanks to all those who have contributed to the charity.
Hilary said, “I am pleased and proud to say that the coffee morning raised the grand total of £1224.17 for Guide Dogs for the Blind Charity!
“It was very well supported by the town’s people and we were privileged to have the Warminster Military Wives Choir who came and sang. The event was opened by our local major, councillor Mike Sutton and his mayoress Pauline and also the town crier.
“I am very grateful to all who came along on the morning to support this worthwhile charity and also a special mention to the committee of the Labour Club who allow me use of the hall. I would like to say thank you to all my fellow puppy walkers and our branch committee members for their invaluable help. See you all next year!”
