WESTBURY Art Group is holding a special exhibition of members’ work at a hall in the town centre next weekend.
The special showing will be held at the Westbury parish church hall near the Market Place. With free entry, the exhibition will be open from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November.
Group member Hazel O’Hara says, “I’ve been part of the group for 14 years and we meet every week to work on our own projects.
“Members range from about 20 years old to 80, and we will be exhibiting our own paintings in oil, acrylic, pastels and other mediums. There will also be Christmas cards on sale, and we’d love to hear from people who are interested in joining.
“It’s a very friendly group of around ten members at the moment, and we meet for three hours every Monday to paint or draw, share our work, chat, and give each other advice.
“We look forward to seeing you there!”
The hall is on Church Lane between Edward Street and All Saints Church.
