WESTBURY boxer, Anthony Fox, sets his sights on a title fight after defeating another top 20 ranked fighter in Merthyr Tydfil on Saturday 9th March.
Anthony said, “I fought on Saturday night in Merthyr Tydfil, getting the win in the main event against Morgan Jones, who was due to fight for the Welsh title and had 12 wins one loss. After knocking him down heavily in the 4th round, and badly hurting him in the 7th round, I won on points by 77-76. Many people ringside thought the scores should have been a bit wider, but I got the win which is the main thing.
“I think since training with Jamie Robertson from December onwards for this fight has bought me on so much and with his help, I will only continue to improve. Next fight I think has to be for a title. I’ve just beaten another top 20 ranked super middleweight in a row, so hopefully there will be a few options on the table now.
