WILTSHIRE Air Ambulance was recently presented with a cheque of £2,400 from money raised from the popular bi-annual Bratton Open Gardens.
Members of the organising committee of the Open Gardens recently visited the Air Ambulance headquarters to present the charity with the cheque, as well as being given a guided tour of the lifesaving work that the charity does throughout Wiltshire.
The money raised will be going towards four new night vision goggles, which is a critical piece of equipment that enables the crew to land safely, particularly in the darker months.
The fund, which has a target of £40,000, is currently at £42,550.
