On 3rd August, members boarded a coach and travelled to Chavenage near Tetbury for their annual outing.
Chavenage is where parts of Poldark were filmed, together with other notable TV and film productions, the latest being The Living and the Dead which has just aired on television. Apparently, a second series of Poldark is “in the can” due out this autumn plus a third series to be filmed next spring has been confirmed. Remember where you heard it first those of you who are fans of Aidan Turner!
Our next meeting will be on 7th September, when we have ‘A Day in the Life of a Beekeeper’, presented by Diane Sleigh. Non members are always welcome. Further details can be obtained from Linda on 831482
