A cheque for £200 was presented to Alzheimer’s Support from the local Westbury Lodge of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB).
“Readers will remember that the Pride of Ethendune Lodge have frequently appeared in the pages of this paper presenting donations to local charities and good causes,” said Mike Storey from the Buffaloes. “The problem we have is who to support; all charities have merit; all are worthy; but some are more worthy than others.
“The choice in this case was easy; we believe that Alzheimer’s Support based in Trowbridge is inspirational in its work, outstanding in its execution and so really worthwhile.
“On the 10th March five of our members visited the HQ and were made very welcome, and left knowing we had made a wise decision. We sincerely wish every success in their endeavors.”
