People using the bus service on Warminster Road will soon have a new bus shelter thanks to funding from the Westbury Area Board.
A bus shelter costing £3,500 will be erected on the A350 near Aldi after recommendations from the community transport group got the go-ahead from the area board. Approval was also given for £400 funding on speed warning signs at Hisomley and £1,000 for the replacement of the handrail near Edington Parish Hall.
The area board’s community transport group considers a wide range of local highways issues and had helped bring about projects from junction improvements to new footpaths.
