Westbury Leigh Community Hall will be celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday with a 1920s-themed tea followed by dancing on Sunday 12th June from 3.30pm.
Angela Graham-Leigh, secretary, Westbury Leigh Community Hall said, “We need people who are up for 1920s dancing such as the Charleston and the Blackbottom to lead the dancing.”
If you would like to volunteer please contact Angela on jandagraham-leigh@blueyonder.co.uk or tel: 01373 303941.
Tickets for the tea and dancing will be on sale at the Visitor’s Centre shortly, priced £2 for adults, £1 for children and a family ticket for £5.
And if dancing is not your thing, but you enjoy quizzes, there will be two coming up at the Community Hall; 23rd April at 7.30pm and 11th June at 7.30pm. Look out for posters locally for details or contact Angela.
