WITH the weather brightening up, it’s the perfect time to enjoy a midweek coach trip to Minehead with Westbury’s Imperial Charity.
The trip will be on Wednesday 11th May and tickets are just £5, with adults and children with special needs going free. Pick up points and timings are printed on the tickets.
“Minehead is a coastal town in Somerset which offers a long flat sandy beach, great for picnics and games, and the sand is perfect for building sandcastles.
“The promenade with its cafés, bars and shops offers access to the sandy beach and spectacular views across to North Hill.
“St Michael’s Church, built in the 14th or 15th Century, can be found on the lower slopes of North Hill. It can be accessed from the road or the quaint Church Steps, which is a footpath between thatched cottages, with stunning views across the town.”
Tickets are available from the charity shop in Westbury or from Warminster Hub.
Other trips planned include Weymouth and Weston-super-Mare and Torquay. For more information visit www.imperialcharity.co.uk
