LAST month, White Horse News reported about a missing cockatiel belonging to resident Freda Ireland. Freda was thankful after her bird was returned, but she thinks it isn’t the same one.
The cockatiel was returned to her last week after a vets in Trowbridge released a social media post, with help from Freda’s friends and family.
However, Freda told White Horse News, “It keeps saying different things and singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, my bird didn’t know that song.” said Freda. “It also keeps sitting on my shoulder.
“It’s not my bird, and I want to let the owner know that it is safe and well with me. There is someone out there as devastated as I was when I lost my bird.”
