WHITE Horse News’s 2013 ‘Person of the Year’ Hilary Reed will be holding a coffee morning this month to raise money for the charity Guide Dogs for the Blind.
The annual coffee morning will be held at the Paragon Hall in Westbury on Saturday 18th October, from 10am – 12pm. There will be a raffle, tombola, and a cake stall, as well as the chance to meet Guide dogs and training puppies with their owners.
Hilary said, “The event is set to be bigger and better than in previous years with some new and varied stalls. Please come along and support us and stock up early on Christmas gifts and cards. We will have a homemade cake stall which always has a variety of delicious cakes!
“We are currently raising funds to name a pup ‘Eade’ after a staunch supporter of Guide Dogs, so please come along to help us and have some fun at the same time. We are also holding a grand raffle which will be drawn on the morning. I would like to thank the Labour Club committee, without whom this coffee morning would not be possible. I’d also like to thank the town crier Sean Price – who will be there on the day – for all his help over the years. I look forward to welcoming you to the hall on the 18th October!”
