DO you have concerns about dog mess in the town? Westbury Town Council has set up a group to tackle the on-going problem of dog mess in Westbury.
The working group was set up by the council to specifically look at the issue of dog fouling, following concerns expressed by the community.
The working group will report its findings at the town council meeting on 7th September. The public are being encouraged to report any incidents to Wiltshire Council. Free bags can be collected from Westbury Town Council or the Heritage Centre in the high street.
The town council would also appreciate the support of local residents in helping to identify those areas in Westbury which they consider to be the worst affected, by contacting them at info@westbury towncouncil.gov.uk or by phoning 01373 8222232 giving details of the area, together with areas where you consider there is a lack of dog/litter bins.
