LOCAL toddler Alexander Vinson could soon return home to the UK as he is expected to finish receiving cancer treatment on 15th January.
Alexander flew to America back in November to receive proton beam therapy for his brain tumour following a fundraising campaign which raised over £150,000 for the treatment.
Mike Hyman from Kids ‘n’ Cancer said, “In a few weeks’ time, the Vinson family will be back in the UK. What fantastic news.
“Everyone involved in Alexander’s fight, whether you gave a penny, a pound or just shared his appeal or prayed, you can be so proud of our collective achievement. We all gave this little fighter a chance of a future, a chance to beat his cancer and a chance to get back to growing up.”
