AS part of the Westbury Festival, an event was held at The Paragon Hall on Saturday 22nd September to showcase all there is to do in Westbury, from community groups to new hobbies and volunteer work.
Around 30 different organisations and volunteer-led groups were on hand to talk to the community about what they offer and how you can get involved.
From singing in a choir, playing bowls, keeping active with running groups, cycling groups or leisure facilities to volunteering, researching family and heritage history, to being a member of the youth club or youth football team – there was something for everyone to get involved in.
Stalls told White Horse News of the success of the event. Linda Hallowell of the Westbury Shed said, “This is a really really good event and the Westbury Shed fully supports it!”
With many groups attracting new members, it gave the community of Westbury a platform to show the town that there is plenty to do and be involved in.
