AN event to help anyone in the local area with schoolage children buy affordable school uniform, is taking place at the community centre.
Residents with good condition second hand uniforms or shoes and wellies are asked to donate them for those in need.
The hand it on initiative is being run by the POPCAN group in conjunction with WCP Westbury (Wilts) Community Project.
Donations will be gratefully received at the Eden Vale Road facility, between 10am-2pm on Tuesday 25th August.
Once all donations are in, gifted uniforms will be available to pick up from there on Friday 28th August 2.30pm-5pm .
All items will be free, on a first-come first-served basis, and as seen on the day. Attendees are asked to remember to bring a mask to wear in the building.
