Fairfield Farm College in Dilton Marsh, a charity and Specialist College for young people with learning and physical disabilities, held its first Easter Egg Hunt fundraiser on Wednesday 5th April.
The college is fundraising for a new indoor equestrian arena to support the students Horse Studies curriculum and to provide a facility for the wider community to hire.
Sponsorship was secured for the event from Allen and Harris Estate Agents in Westbury and Dilton Motors in Dilton Marsh. Donations of Easter Eggs were provided by Stephen Graver Ltd, Asda, Frome and Trowbridge, Morrison’s Westbury & Warminster and Waitrose in Warminster.
The winner of the £20 Toys r Us voucher donated by Allen and Harris Estate Agents in Westbury was Rebecca Durham with Henry from Dilton Marsh and the delicious homemade Easter Cake made by Katie Dance for the raffle was won by Linda Jones from Dilton Marsh.
A spokesperson from the college said, “We are delighted that the community supported us and that local employers helped to make the event happen by sponsoring it. We raised an amazing £256.10 to go towards the new indoor equestrian arena.
