THE local community is invited to enjoy a range of church services in Westbury over the Easter period.
Rebecca Harris, team rector at White Horse Team Ministry says, “Come and join us in the rotunda in the High Street for worship on Good Friday 29th March at 10.30 am. We shall be remembering the first Good Friday with songs, readings and reflection. There will also be some hot cross buns!
“There will also be ‘An Hour at the Cross’ at All Saints on Good Friday from 12pm – all welcome. On Saturday 30th March, there will be an Easter fun morning for primary school age children with their parents from 10am. This will include Easter craft activities, re-telling the Easter story, seed planting and an Easter egg hunt.
“There will also be an Easter egg hunt organised by Westbury Lions in All Saints’ Churchyard from 10am to 12pm.
“All our local churches have services on Easter Day. At All Saints, our services will be at 8am (said Holy Communion) and 9.30am for the sung Communion. Holy Saviour at Westbury Leigh has a service of Holy Communion at 11am.”
