Macmillan Cancer Support is hosting its annual ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ with fundraisers around the country serving up coffee (and tea) and cake, all in aid of the charity.
In 2017, Westbury raised hundred of pounds for Macmillan and this year should be no exception, with coffee mornings being held across Westbury and surrounding villages including:
• Multiple Macmillan Morning at The Minster Church St Denys, Warminster, Wednesday 26th September, 10am-11.30am. Organiser, Tracey Lawrence, from Westbury says, “Calling all local twin parents, grandparents and carers to enjoy cake and coffee with your little ones at the next twins group. Toddlers, babies and bumps welcome. Cupcake decorating for little ones. For more information contact traceylawrence_624@hot mail.com.”
• Goodings Accounts, 24 Warminster Road, Thursday 27th September, from 10am. Please come along and show your support.
• Suave coffee and wine bar, 31 Warminster Road, Thursday 27th September from 10am. Join for coffee and cake. Please bring a cake, bake it or fake it, we don’t mind! All money to charity.
• Matravers School Learning Resource Centre, Friday 28th September, 9am-11am. The Year 10 Matravers Business Studies class and Enterprise Club will be selling coffee, tea, cakes and more. Donations will also be gladly received.
This is because most families have been touched by cancer and any donation towards this cause will make a big difference.
• The Heritage Automotive Macmillan Coffee Morning, Heritage of Westbury Volkswagen, West Wilts Trading Estate, Friday 28th September, 10am-4pm.
• Barters Farm Nurseries & Plant Centre, Chapmanslade. Saturday 28th September, the refreshments will be raising money for Macmillan Cancer Care as we join the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
• All Stars Fitness Studio, Westbury, Saturday 6th October at the new studio at 20 Woodlands Industrial Estate from 10am – 2pm.
