THE FA Mars Just Play! programme has introduced recreational football sessions across Wiltshire, including men’s events in Westbury and Warminster.
The sessions are intended to suit those who enjoy football but don’t want to commit to training and playing with a team. Instead, anyone aged 16 and above can just turn up and pay £3 for an hour’s play.
The balls, pitches, and organisation are provided by the programme, and the sessions are casual recreational games.
There are male-only football sessions at Leighton Recreation Centre in Westbury from 9-10pm on Wednesday nights (01373 824448 for details), and at Warminster Sports Centre from 6-7pm on a Sunday (01985 212946).
