Westbury fire services were called to Dilton Marsh when recent heavy rain flooded a house on the High Street.
The crew attended the scene on the morning of Saturday 19th July, to find that rainwater had poured into and flooded the cellar of the house. It took the firefighters around an hour to empty the home with a mini ejector pump. Westbury fire crews also assisted teams in Trowbridge after huge thunderstorms caused lightning damage and flooding.
