CHILDREN from First Steps to Worship, a term-time service provided by All Saints’ Church for parents, carers, pre-school children and babies, have been checking decorations to make sure they are ready for the Christmas Tree Festival.
The popular event will take place at the church from Friday 1st December to Sunday 3rd December with around 50 trees on display and there will also be stalls and refreshments. On the Friday there will be some dance and musical entertainment inside the church and on Saturday there will also be the fairground organ playing music outside in the churchyard.
First Steps is held in the children’s corner of All Saints’ Church at 9.30am in term time only. This friendly group for pre-school children and their carers has been meeting for 33 years. All are welcome for stories, songs and refreshments.
