Kingfisher Pre-school is celebrating its first anniversary since being taken over by YMCA Bath group.
“The setting is conveniently placed on the Bitham Brook School site and has its own building,” said Sarah Clover, Director for Children’s Services at the YMCA Bath Group.
“The staff team have been at the setting for many years and are kind and caring. The setting is for 2, 3 and 4 year olds and now opens from 8.30am-3.30pm each weekday during term-time so that parents can drop off in time to access part-time work.
“We offer 15 hours free funding for all 3 and 4 year olds and up to 30 hours a week for working parents. We also offer free 15 hours of funding for 2 year olds who are eligible.
“We have a lovely outside area which the children can access daily.
“Our staff really enjoy being part of a bigger group and across Wiltshire and Bath we run 8 nurseries and pre-schools. This enables our staff to access training and professional development at a high level.
“To check whether you are eligible for 30 hours free childcare or for help towards your childcare fees, please visit the government website www.childcare choices.gov.uk
“We are also very pleased to say that from January, we are now managing Bratton Pre-school and are really looking forward to welcoming the staff team and its children and families to our family. “
