THE Leigh Park Community Centre (LPCC) is offering a free youth work training session on Saturday 2nd March from 9am to 5pm.
Training will include the following topics:
• What is youth work – develop a basic knowledge of youth work as a way of working with young people
• Doing youth work – develop basic knowledge of how youth workers carry out their role with groups of young people
• Young people’s development – develop basic knowledge of development from childhood to adolescence
Spaces are limited so if you would like to attend, ask for a booking form in the LPCC office or by emailing office@lpccwestbury.org.uk
Bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis. This training session is open to everyone and includes a light lunch and refreshments.
