Westbury’s Welfare of the Elderly group is holding a fund raising sale on Saturday 21st May, 10am to 3pm at Grassacres Hall to raise funds for it’s new kitchen.
“Why not come along and have a coffee and a chat and get a bargain at the same time?” says group member Sue Ezra. “We will be very pleased to see you!
“In 2014 the Welfare of the Elderly committee which is responsible for the upkeep and running of Grassacres Hall in Westbury, undertook a huge kitchen refurbishment project as the old kitchen was in need of repair and updating.
“We were very fortunate in receiving grants and donations to help towards this project as well as carrying out our own fund raising events, and are very grateful for all the help we have received for this project.
“In January of this year, the hall was closed for three weeks or so while the new kitchen floor was laid and new units installed. The kitchen is now in use again but there are still one or two jobs to be completed.”
