Ham bus stop to be relocated

FOLLOWING concerns from a local resident about the new pavement at The Ham being too short to reach the bus stop, Wiltshire Council has stated that the bus stop sign will soon be relocated. 

A Wiltshire Council spokesperson said, “The construction works at The Ham are complete. However, the bus stop sign needs to be relocated. We have made arrangements for this to take place.

“The footway has been provided to give access to the relocated bus stop on The Ham.  The bus stop sign will move from its existing position (on the bend warning sign post) to the end of the new footway and in doing so, provide direct access from the original footway through to the stop, with a waiting area for passengers.”
