THE Westbury Group Practice (WGP) Patient Participation Group (PPG) is looking for new members to participate in supporting health care services to meet the needs of the Westbury community.
The PPG is an active group that acts as a ‘critical friend’ to the practice by raising matters of general concern expressed by patients to members. The PPG is also actively involved in supporting the surgery with the annual survey and events such as flu clinics etc.
However, they can’t do this without input from all sections of the community – so if you’re interested in having your say in a structured and deliberate way, please contact the WGP.
PPG members must be registered as patients with WGP and be prepared to attend meetings which usually occur on a quarterly basis. These meetings are face-to-face at White Horse Health Centre, however virtual meetings may be considered in the future.
The next meeting is on Tuesday 6th September at 6.30pm so if you’re interested in attending to see what it’s like, please notify reception at WGP or call 01373 828330 weekdays after 2pm to avoid the morning rush, or email wccg.wgppatientvoice@nhs.net
Organisers say, “We would particularly like contributions from our younger population and all our ethnically diverse community.”
