The next BA13+ Community Area Partnership meeting is to be held on Thursday 19th May in the Laverton in Westbury, starting at 7.00pm.
The theme is ‘Health and Wellbeing’ and Sarah MacLennan from the West Wiltshire Clinical Commissioning Group has agreed to come and speak regarding their aspirations for Westbury in the coming few years.
West Wiltshire NHS Wiltshire CCG aims to improve the health of the population and, should they fall ill, to commission for them the best possible, seamless, effective and safe care, within its financial resources. To do this, Wiltshire CCG works with patients and healthcare professionals and in partnership with local communities and local authorities.
The public is very welcome to attend. There is no need to book a place. Free refreshments will be served from 6.45pm.
The BA13+ Community Area Partnership Community Plan covers the period 2014-2017 and takes into account a wide-ranging list of the community’s views. This is based around the core themes of the environment; health and wellbeing, housing, transport, culture and the arts, leisure, children and young people, economy, jobs and skills and community safety (incorporating speedwatch, neighbourhood watch, safe places)
The group is planning to extend the community plan beyond 2017 in the next year and would very much like to hear from individuals, groups, and volunteers with an interest in any of the above themes.
