THE Inner Wheel Club of Westbury has thanked the local community for donating Easter eggs following the success of the Easter egg hunt in Grassacres Park on Saturday 25th March.
“The weather was blustery but sunny and the event attracted around 30 children plus their parents,” said the club. “Everyone really enjoyed the day and many hoped we’d repeat the event next year.
“A big thank you to all who helped and for the generosity of Lidl, Morrisons, The Shed and individual donations of Easter eggs, which made the event possible. Thank you also to Viv Hill for crafting the felt Easter bunny for our raffle. Look out for this event next year!”
The Inner Wheel’s next event is a charity quiz night and raffle. Tickets are £10 per player with teams of four to six people and can be purchased by emailing Julie Street (the organiser) on jstreet45@netscape.net
A fish and chip supper is included (vegetarian option available), and the bar will be open. Entries are open until Monday 17th April and all proceeds will go to local charities.
