The first event in our new year was having a stall at the Bratton Village Fete.
Our members were very busy and provided a wonderful selection of cakes, puddings and pies as well as produce. Our president, Pat Harper, donated a beautiful dressed doll so we were able to run a competition to ‘guess her name’.
It was a nice dry day and within two and a half hours we had sold everything, which resulted in a profit of £180 for our charity account.
The fete was well supported and everyone seemed to be having a good time.
The name of the doll was Louise and was won by Valerie Sandoe. A big thank you to all those people who bought so generously. A very good start to our year.
