Members of the Inner Wheel Club of Westbury welcomed Julie Street who was officially enrolled into the club by president Maureen Boyd at their meeting on 7th February at The Royal Oak at Corsley.
The club reports, “ Julie, who has previously attended meetings as a visitor, said that she has already been made very welcome.
“Plans for forthcoming events include a charity quiz evening to be held at Leigh Park Community Centre on Friday 5th April, with a fish and chip supper. Two other charity events featuring ‘blind skittles’ and a walk are in the pipeline.
“Social events as well as the regular pub lunches include a progressive Sunday lunch in April and a possible club outing to Bruton in the spring.”
