POLICE are trying to trace the owners of two bicycles stolen in Westbury after retrieving them from the thieves.
In the early hours of Thursday 3rd September, two juveniles were arrested on suspicion of theft of pedal cycles. They later admitted that they had stolen the cycles from an unknown address in Westbury, near the Co-op store. The stolen cycles were lent against a wall, and a number of other cycles were nearby.
The only description of the recovered cycles which has been released is that they are both mountain bikes, one orange, one red in colour. There are other identifying marks on both cycles which police believe will be known to the owners.
To date, neither of these cycles have been reported as stolen, and PC Aaron John is anxious to hear from the owners, so that their property can be returned to them.
Constable John can be contacted by ringing 0845 408 7000 ext.728520.
