Westbury’S streets are set to be full of fun and frivolities in the town’s upcoming Street Fayre, which this year promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Spectacular performances, funfair, pony rides and a petting zoo are among the many attractions coming to the town centre on Saturday 17th July in Westbury’s biggest event of the year.
The Street Fayre, which is organised by Westbury Town Council together with Westbury Lions and other local organisations, is a biennial event which takes place throughout the town centre.
Cllr Dave Windess who is co-ordinating this year’s event commented, “The Street Fayre is a great opportunity for the local community to come onto the streets to celebrate summer in style. We have a lively programme of entertainment this year with something for everyone – all we need is some warm summer weather!”
During the daytime there is a mix of events, displays, activities and entertainment taking place throughout the town centre, culminating in an evening of musical entertainment in Westbury’s refurbished historic Market Place.
