THE people of Bratton have once again given generously to the Poppy Appeal, raising £3,473.
Tony Hyde, Poppy Appeal organiser for Bratton said, “This included a donation of £480 from Andy and Lyn at the Duke from their splendid autumn fundraising weekend. They also arranged a delicious curry lunch for Legion members and friends on Remembrance Sunday . The president of the Bratton branch, Lt Gen Louis Lillywhite, presented Andy and Lyn with an award in recognition of their generous fundraising on behalf of the Poppy Appeal.
“The thanks of the Poppy Appeal go to all in the village who helped and gave so generously,” said Tony Hyde.
