Westbury Junior School took part in a celebratory Harvest Festival at All Saints Church recently.
The whole school walked to the church, taking with them a variety of contributions for the local food bank. The school has been exploring the theme of ‘generosity’ and each year group prepared readings on the subject.
The children also prepared and decorated hands which were pinned to a board making part of the Westbury Junior School ‘Helping Hands’ display, which will be on show in All Saints Church for the Harvest period.
Teacher Katrina Platt said, “It was lovely to see the whole school taking part and donating to a local charity.”
