WESTBURY Lions gave thanks to the Horse and Groom pub in Alfred Street, who donated £448 to the charity after a year of fundraising.
Westbury Lions said, “Our thanks to the team and patrons of the Horse & Groom, Westbury, who donated a whopping £448.63 to the Westbury Lions community fund!
“As their chosen charity this year, these are the proceeds of their recent quiz nights and collections in the bar and shall be used wisely in support of community causes in and around the town.
“Quiz nights are held on the first Sunday of each month, with the next quiz on Sunday 3rd February at 6.30pm. It’s a fun night out and is open to teams of 4-6 people – we hope to see you at the next one!”
