WESTBURY Conservative Club has a variety of live music and entertainment events for members to enjoy this month.
First up is the Karaoke night on Saturday 5th March. Organisers say, “Get those vocal cords limbered up ready for our karaoke evening here at the club.”
Next up is Uncle Jack on Saturday 12th March. The popular ‘human juke box’ band are back to play a host of favourites for locals. They say, “We play as a live juke box, passings round sheets of our 80 numbers and letting the punters decide what we play.
“Most of the numbers on the list are classic well-known songs from last 40 years including some modern stuff. We don’t take breaks and play as long as we are appreciated, sometimes as long as 4 hours. Never had a bad gig. Always wanted back. Never fail to get people up dancing.”
Following this is Jay, on Saturday 26th March, ‘one of the most accomplished soloists’ around. Jay says, “My playlist includes favourites from the fifties right through to the latest chart crowd-pleasers.”
All events have a starting time of 9pm but organisers have said to check in with the club closer to the time for confirmation. They can be reached on their Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/westburyconservativeclub/ or by calling 01373 822 557.
