Matravers School has launched a £50,000 project investing into sport provision across the site.
Matravers has a growing reputation for investing in a range of diverse sports which includes; archery, shooting, equestrian and outdoor education, including its own Combined Cadet Force.
The latest project includes the provision of a state-of-the-art Cycle Storage to further promote healthy lifestyles through cycling. The school also welcomes its own West Wilts Table Tennis league to be based at the school, providing wider community access and participation in sports. Lighting in the Sports Centre will be upgraded to provide national and international quality provision.
Matravers is working with a range of partners to realise this vision including; Wiltshire Council through School Journeys funding, Sport England and Table Tennis England and West Wilts Table Tennis League.
The school is looking forward to working closely with the West Wilts Table Tennis league and will be making further announcements in the spring. New members always welcomed to the club.
