Matravers School Governor application period extended

The Matravers School Governing Board have extended the deadline for applications for the vacant governor positions, to 18th November.

The Chair, Guy Davies, would welcome applications from anyone who feels they would like to contribute to the leadership of the school. In particular, the Board would like to recruit someone with knowledge of safeguarding in schools and interest in the provision made for students with special educational needs, however other skills and experience are also valued.

Knowledge of school governance would be an advantage, but induction and training will be given.

If you would like to put yourself forward as a candidate, please complete and return the application form to the school, by the 18th November. Forms are available on the Matravers website, or can be obtained from the school’s reception desk.
