Westbury Rotary are holding a membership evening on Wednesday 27th May at 6.45pm in the Chalford House Hotel, Warminster Road, Westbury.
Sue Ezra, on behalf of Rotary explains, “What is Rotary? It’s a fellowship of members who share common interests and an opportunity for service. A chance to give something back to their community and volunteer their time to many projects.
“We organise community events, help young people fulfil their potential. Some of the projects we are involved in are: KidsOut, taking disadvantaged children to Longleat; Youth Speaks with the local schools and hopefully on to the national competition; Street collections for various charities; Carol Services at Christmas and with the help of AVR we are involved in the Imber Ultra Race. Overseas in the last 25 years we have almost eradicated Polio.
“So why not join us on the 27th May to find out more by either calling in or ringing Cavan Algar, president, tel: 01373 865571.
