WESTBURY Town Council has extended the deadline for the Christmas Window Competition to December 18th this year in light of the Covid-19 restrictions all businesses have faced.
They report, “Many businesses in the town have already brought some festive cheer to their windows, bringing much needed cheeriness to us all in this difficult time.
“As is tradition, Westbury’s Mayor will circumnavigate the town and take in every shop’s effort.
“This year, more than others, it’s fair to say that every business owner deserves a huge amount of credit for everything they have done to make things work. The usual prize for the best window will be announced before Christmas Day, although every effort this year is worth celebrating.
“If you would like to register your own shop window for the competition just email your name, business name, window name and contact details to Events@westburytowncouncil.gov.uk”
