LOCAL MP Andrew Murrison recently visited Prosec Consultancy in Westbury, a company that offers a range of security and healthcare-related courses and services.
Speaking on the visit, Murrison said, “It was a huge pleasure to visit this great local success story. It employs people in our area and operates in a sector that is set to expand in the years ahead.
“The Westbury economy is characterised by a very large number of small and medium sized businesses like Prosec. I enthusiastically welcome the support for small and medium sized enterprises in the Spring Budget, building in previous government support for skills and productivity growth, which extends the Recovery Loan Scheme, now the ‘Growth Guarantee Scheme’, and raising the VAT registration threshold.
“This well-aimed support and alleviation of the tax burden shows that Britain remains one of the best places in the world to start and grow a small business.”
