TWO local businesses selling children’s toys and clothing have recently set up shop in Westbury town centre, and are hoping to draw the town in with a range of products at competitive prices.
P+P World and Toy Vegas Ltd are the new owners of 49 Edward Street, Westbury, and offer a variety of children’s toys for all ages, clothes, prams and baby accessories.
Martin Bishop (P+P World) and Lewis Richards (Toy Vegas Ltd) originally owned separate stalls in Trowbridge Market Place, before deciding to combine forces in Westbury.
Lewis said, “We decided to set up in Westbury because the shop’s in a good location and we wanted to bring something new to the town.
“We opened officially at the beginning of February. It has been a slow start but business is starting to pick up and we’re hopeful that the shop will be popular.
“We had about a year’s combined experience in Trowbridge Market, and feel that it is our prices that set us apart from the competition. The prices are very low for the quality of what we sell.”
