THE Duke at Bratton held its first Tractors and Trotters event on 2nd August, raising £370 for charity.
The new event combines a vintage vehicle rally which is followed by a hog roast. This year was the first and money raised will be donated to Cancer Research and Dorothy House.
Landlord, Andy Hobbs, said, “It was a brilliant day and so much fun. We had about 20 tractors turn up and a few 4×4’s. Everyone said they had a great time and really enjoyed the day.
“We had people come from all over which was great. The weather was fantastic so we were so pleased about that. It had rained continously the day before but the sun shone on Sunday.
“We’re already looking forward to next year’s. Hopefully it will be bigger and better and raise more money for charity.”
