WESTBURY Town Council is inviting nominees for the annual Civic Award(s) and Young Person’s Civic Award(s).
The awards are given to those who have given outstanding service to the community of Westbury, by personal effort or self sacrifice, or contributed to the town or people of Westbury by some other act of outstanding citizenship. Forms are available from Keith Harvey, Town Clerk, The Laverton, Bratton Road, Westbury BA13 3EN, or via westburytc@btconnect.com. Nominations must be returned by 10th December.
The 2011 Civic Awards were presented to David McCance, Roy Inwood, Harry Horton, Julie Taylor, and Jamie Harper.
