NOMINATIONS are now open for the Charlotte Bolwell memorial trophy, which is awarded to a Dilton Marsh resident or group who has given back to the community.
The trophy was set up by Greg and Helen Bolwell in memory of their daughter Charlotte, who died at the age of 23 in 2006. Any individual or group in Dilton Marsh, under the age of 25, can be nominated.
“Do you know someone or a group who has worked tirelessly for the village, dedicated themselves to their favourite charities, or someone who has simply been a good neighbour?” said Greg and Helen.
“The past year has seen so many people go the extra mile for others – we’re sure there are many deserving people out there that should be recognised.
The trophy was last won by Shannon Pierce in 2018, a schoolgirl who raised over £200 for Fairfield Farm College after taking part in a sponsored silence.
If you know someone who lives in Dilton Marsh, is under the age of 25, and deserves to be recognised as a community hero. email Greg at gregorbolwell@ yahoo. com.
The deadline for nominations is 31st March.
