THE Westbury NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) committee has thanked pupils from Matravers and Bratton Primary School who helped raise £400 for the charity earlier this month.
Through their own initiative, students from Matravers School and Bratton Primary came together with collection buckets outside Morrisons earlier to raise the money.
The Westbury NSPP committee said, “We would like to say a big thank you to the staff at Westbury Morrisons and the generous customers for their continuous support and donations.
“A big well done to students of Matravers and Bratton Primary School who volunteered on the 8th and 9th October to raise £388.56 for the NSPCC. Overall, they volunteered 12 hours between them.”
