A student from Westbury Leigh Primary School, Oliver, has raised £259 on his Just Giving page for Cancer Research.
The school reports, “He made the decision to grow his hair for a year and was able to donate 12 inches of his hair to Cancer Research to be used to make wigs for children with hair loss.”
Oliver said, “I was really very shocked that I raised so much money. Thank you to everyone who supported me, it is much appreciated. I feel pleased to make a change to a girl or boy’s life, and to help them feel more confident and proud to be able to go out in public.”
Westbury Leigh Primary School added, “Well done Oliver!”
